How Accretion Works

The word “accretion” comes from the Latin "accrescere" — "to grow."

Language acquisition begins with memorization, but it can’t end there. You need to move from rote recall into more complex skills like organization and, eventually, synthesis. I created Accretion to address each of these levels. By offering several different, and increasingly challenging, levels Accretion is effective for young students or those new to a language as well as people who are ready to take their language skills to the highest levels of composition and creativity.

The end result: a story. Accretion helps individuals gain experience in generating and communicating ideas, as well as working with teammates to create a vision of a larger group story. 

Accretion is a way to get out of the box and into a creativity breakthrough. It works for students and employees, individuals and groups, anyone who wants to take their language skills to the next level.
